Charity Case Study: St Kentigern’s Hospice

We help St Kentigern Hospice save money and volunteer time by packing and mailing out their newsletter to supporters.

The project

St Kentigern's HospiceSt Kenigern Hospice in St Asaph provides end of life care to adults from across North Wales, and sends a newsletter out to 8,000 supporters across the region. We have worked with the hospice since 2010.

How NRG helps

We saved the hospice more than £450 on their postage alone (against standard second class) and more on the printed inserts and outer packaging. We also advised the charity to send their newsletter out in A5 folded format, which helped save on postage.

As well as the newsletter, packed into a polythene bag so that the recipient can see its contents, we also add extra items depending on the client’s campaigns.

Our service means that volunteers can spend their time better on hospice work, rather than filling envelopes.

What the client said:

“From the very first telephone call, email and visit to NRG the help and advice that they have given me have been second to none.  Kelly and the team have done a marvellous job, advising me and putting into practice all that was required of them.  I cannot thank them enough, and the feedback we have received about our newsletter has been positive.  I would certainly recommend them and use them again.  A First Class Service.  Thank you.”
